  This was the worst experience I could imagine. I would be very careful when buying a lab through this kennel. First off the owner lied to us about the dog being sick when we went to pick up the dog. She told us that someone was shooting fireworks off and the dog was stressed the night before and to give her this stool hardener (metronidazole) for 4 days. After getting the dog home I googled to find out it was an antibiotic. Next, you have to have a prescription to get metronidazole. The dog was not stressed it was sick. As the days went on this dog stopped eating and drinking water. Its health went further down. Every time the dog would eat or drink it would throw up.
  
  We ended up taking it back to the vet and the Vet committed the dog over night pumped it with IV and more antibiotics. Keep in mind that we paid 1500 for the dog and $600 vet bill all within 4 days. The Vet performed a stool sample and sent it off to the lab. The dog tested positive for a parasite called Coccidia. While it is common in kennels and puppies the fact that this breeder was not straight up with us is very concerning. You pay good money for a dog and hate to bring it home and see it take a turn for the worse.
  
  She informed us that she would take the dog back sell to a new family and refund the deposit. She has the dog and failed to return phone calls and failed to even advertise that she has puppies available.
  
  The professionalism with this breeder is far below the standards that AKC advocates. I would be well prepared when dealing with transactions with this breeder. My advice is don't pick up the dog unless you and this breeder have a contract agreed to. Since you are engaging in a transaction that is not a good or service its important to have that contract. Even when we went to pick up the dog at 12 weeks it still had not been registered. That was a red flag.
