  I was so thankful to hear of this state cemetery, not far from our home. My family visited the site and it was very nice. It is located conveniently off of Hwy 70 west of Lagrange, in Wayne county. It was very peaceful and well taken care of.
  The memorial service was nicely arranged. I thought the timely fly over of jets was very appropriate. The fly over came as we were leaving the memorial service.
  Recently, we visited and observed the beauty of the Christmas wreaths on each headstone.
  I am very happy with the internment and care given.
  Thank you to the staff and the state of North Carolina for providing state cemeteries as most Federal cemeteries in eastern NC are not accepting any veterans.
